TEA POT

9.5"x10.5" Pique assiette tea pot front and back.

Actually either side could be front or back because the lid can be turned. Shards of old plates and a little hand built figure made in clay complete this tea pot. It is weather sealed .
I have wanted to get back to painting and had every plan to do so but this tea pot beckoned me to decorate it! It was fun ! Now....to painting!

Such a darling teapot, and I love the blending of color the pottery shards create. Also, your bluebird painting that your use on your blog is so lovely. I'm really wanting to do a bluebird in pastels. We have a pair that show up at the birdbath every morning. Such gorgeous colors!

Hi Dulcy,
I'm so happy you like the teapot and bluebirds! Thank you!
You have blue birds, how wonderful! Such a rare sight here.
I think they would be absolutely beautiful done in pastels, can't wait to see what you create!
