My favorite time to paint is early in the morning. When it is quiet and I have had my coffee. My studio is outside so I have a few steps from my house to get to it. I think there is something very intimate in the smaller works having always painted quite large. Painting usually everyday and always in the morning I have chosen the title Morning Paintings.

Susan - How I ended up at your beautiful blog - I just don't know - but - WOW! Your paintings are so very lovely. I love that you just get up every morning - savor a cup of coffee and then create something so beautiful. Actually, I am blown away. Thank you for sharing your talents on this lovely blog - you are so blessed to have such a creative spirit!

Dear Susan
I really liked your painting of the cupcake with pink icing and sprinkles. I did a pastiche of this for part of my GCSE art (AO1) I think your work is amazing and I really like it!
