My Cecile Brunner Rose is in bloom! All the rain we've had has encouraged this beautiful rose bush to flourish and blossom. Many years ago in my garden I had this lovely little rose cascading over a trellis greeting visitors coming up the walk way. My young daughters placed the sweet little roses in their hair. It makes me happy to think of it and to see how pretty it has become. I want to share it!
My friend Annette gave me plants for my birthday several months ago and this is a brand new bloom for Spring! It has rained so much and the winds have been so wild the little tag that was on it is gone! I don't know the name of this plant? Do you? Anyway, I love it and it grows beautifully in a big terra cotta pot on my deck.
Newest Pillow. Softer colors and ruffels of linen in white,cream and the soft green of the painting and back ground. Backing is linen, the same color as the pillow in a soft green called "meadow". The roses have a light touch of gold going around the edge of the painting. I think it finishes them off. 22"x34"
