TEA POT

9.5"x10.5" Pique assiette tea pot front and back.

Actually either side could be front or back because the lid can be turned. Shards of old plates and a little hand built figure made in clay complete this tea pot. It is weather sealed .
I have wanted to get back to painting and had every plan to do so but this tea pot beckoned me to decorate it! It was fun ! Now....to painting!

What is it about cups, bowls and vessels? I love the idea of them. Of course the practicality goes with out saying. I like them round, to hold what ever suits our fancy. They make me think of cozy things. Soup, cocoa, coffee, tea, ice cream! Here is a stack of cups, waiting for the cozy.

Ok, enough animals for right now. I love pink and saw this beautiful cup with a bird on it and I knew it was for me and had to be painted! A cookie and some cocoa, just perfect!
