October Festival in Cambria!

In october in Cambria we have October Fest! Gayle has the chambers Gallery in Cambria. Her darling crow is a favorite in town. All made by her with the head made of paper mache' and painted. I think it is just precious and she has added my crow painting behind it!! Fabulous Gayle and thank you!!!

ART and WINE FESTIVAL

16"x20"  We Won!! Vicki Greene and I entered our painting in the Chamber of Comerce Art and Wine Festival Poster Contest.Vicki is the seascape painter and I painted the vineyard and foreground. We thought it expressed Art and Wine.
 This is always a big party in Cambria with wine pouring and sampling, raffle's, dinners and party's!
Vicki and I are happy and proud to be a part of this always fun filled event.  Gayle Sewels Chambers Gallery will be a hub of celebratory fun during the festival!Come and see us in January and get a signed poster!!

ART and Wine Festival

My Friend Vicki Greene and I have collaborated on another painting. This time for the up coming Art and Wine Festival. Vicki is the sea scape artist at the Chambers Gallery. The Festival isn't until January and this will be our entry for the poster competition!
 We are surrounded by vineyards here with so many of them in Paso Robles. We always have a festival with artists painting and lots of fun things to do, including wine tasting,an auction and prizes.
Mark it on your calendar for January!

Cottage Girl, Picnic

This is my newest "cottage girl" she is ready for her picnic! A bottle of wine and a basket laden with goodies. She is 91/2" tall.
The cottage behind her was built lovingly by my wonderful stepdad Bill, it is a bird house! My "sis" Wendy named these little girls,"cottage girls" I love that! I am making a series of them. They are made of earthenware clay, fired and glazed. Click on the picture to see a larger view.

Fun time in the gallery yesterday, Gayle,Lynn ,Vicki and Meredithe, all sampling wine and filling the place with laughter. It is the wine festival after all!! I demonstrated a wine bottle painting (what else?) and we greeted the friends and neighbors who came in to visit!

Vicki brought in several of her new small paintings and we all loved them and they were snatched up in a frenzy! A great day and today we do it all again!! Hope to see you there! SOLD!!

Wine Festival

The Wine Festival is this weekend! Starting today artists will be giving painting demonstrations in front of the shops, or in my case in the Chambers Gallery. This will be going on all thru Cambria along with wine sampling in and prize give aways!

If you are in Cambria come and see us! All the winery's will be in celebration! This is a 3 day event!
