I love the idea of "nesting". Our homes and gardens are our sanctuary and our "nest". Of course birds have it wired!

 Original design, hand made heart from clay and fired. Embellished with my hand painted and handmade imagery and tiles. Completed with vintage pottery shards cut to fit the design. Grouted with a soft linen colored grout and sealed with a water proof sealer so that it can be hung in your garden!!SOLD!

GREEN BIRD

I know, it's not really a green bird. I was loving the contrast of the pinks and greens and white potterie pieces. These birds are very sweet in the garden as well as in the home. They are weather proof with a sealer.

Green Pear

This is a new pear, having fun with glazes. I just love it when the glazes move. I am making many pears for the show in Solvang along with crows,cottage girls,mosiac bowls, many more things and I'm almost ready.
I must start a painting but I'm just having too much fun with clay!!!

5x8" birdhouse Loving pink and green as I do I just had to make a birdhouse in those colors! I just love the way the glaze crackles in the raku process. Do you Raku??

24x30 Abstract o/c Just finished this. This was tough, I think it is the smaller canvas. I had to get the balance and I added, reworked and added and took away and added! It was fun but gave me a challenge. That's what it is about tho right?? Should be a challenge and it should be fun!! I photo graphed it on the easel and just came in to get it on the blog. I think it works.
