My favorite time to paint is early in the morning. When it is quiet and I have had my coffee.My studio is outside so I have a few steps from my house to get to it. I think there is something very intimate in the smaller works having always painted quite large. Painting usually everyday and always in the morning I have chosen the title Morning Paintings.

POPPY LAKE
16"x20"o/c There isn't really a Poppy Lake, that I know of any way, more a figment of my emagination.
It's a combination of many parks and lakes I've seen and loved. Another painting to add to my Poppy series.
